بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلطَّارِقُ
But what will let you know what at-Tariq is?

ٱلنَّجْمُ ٱلثَّاقِبُ
The Piercing Star.
86:4Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
إِن كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَّمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ
There is no soul without a Protector over it.
86:5Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
فَلْيَنظُرِ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ
Let man consider what he was created from.
86:6Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
خُلِقَ مِن مَّآءٍ دَافِقٍ
He was created from gushing liquid.
86:7Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
يَخْرُجُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ ٱلصُّلْبِ وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ
Issuing from between the backbone and the breastbones.
86:8Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
إِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِۦ لَقَادِرٌ
He is certainly able to return him.
86:9Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى ٱلسَّرَآئِرُ
On the Day when the secrets are disclosed.
86:10Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ
He will have no strength, and no supporter.
86:11Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلرَّجْعِ
By the sky that returns.
86:12Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
وَٱلْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ ٱلصَّدْعِ
And the earth that cracks open.
86:13Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ
It is a Decisive Word.
86:14Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
وَمَا هُوَ بِٱلْهَزْلِ
It is no joke.
86:15Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا
They plot and scheme.
86:16Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا
But I plot and scheme.
86:17Juz 30 · Madinah page 591
فَمَهِّلِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًۢا
Therefore, give the blasphemers respite, a brief respite.
