بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
96:2Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
Created man from a clot.
96:3Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ
Read: And your Lord is the Most Generous.
96:4Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ
He who taught by the pen.
96:5Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
Taught man what he never knew.
96:6Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لَيَطْغَىٰٓ
In fact, man oversteps all bounds.
96:7Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسْتَغْنَىٰٓ
When he considers himself exempt.
96:8Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجْعَىٰٓ
But to your Lord is the return.
96:9Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يَنْهَىٰ
Have you seen him who prevents?
96:10Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
عَبْدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
A servant when he prays?
96:11Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
Do you think he is upon guidance?
96:12Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
أَوْ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقْوَىٰٓ
Or advocates righteousness?
96:13Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
أَرَءَيْتَ إِن كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
Do you see how he disbelieved and turned away?
96:14Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
أَلَمْ يَعْلَم بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرَىٰ
Does he not know that God sees?
96:15Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
كَلَّا لَئِن لَّمْ يَنتَهِ لَنَسْفَعًۢا بِٱلنَّاصِيَةِ
No. If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock.
96:16Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
نَاصِيَةٍ كَـٰذِبَةٍ خَاطِئَةٍ
A deceitful, sinful forelock.
96:17Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
فَلْيَدْعُ نَادِيَهُۥ
Let him call on his gang.
96:18Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
سَنَدْعُ ٱلزَّبَانِيَةَ
We will call the Guards.
96:19Juz 30 · Madinah page 597
كَلَّا لَا تُطِعْهُ وَٱسْجُدْ وَٱقْتَرِب ۩
No, do not obey him; but kneel down, and come near.
