A timetable does not determine whether you should fast. Follow qualified guidance for your circumstances and the locally observed days. Full prayer times
Using the timetable
Suhoor (also called sehri) is the meal before the fast. The Quran describes the fasting interval as dawn to nightfall (2:187). This timetable uses Fajr and Maghrib from the selected prayer method; it does not use sunrise as the start or replace Fajr with an earlier “imsak” time.
Ramadan’s first and last fasting days follow the decision observed by your community. Sahih al-Bukhari 1909 describes the crescent’s role in beginning and ending the month. The calendar here is a planning estimate; a local start-date entry records your choice and is not an independently verified announcement.
City timings are supplied by Aladhan for the city coordinates, timezone and prayer method. Check your mosque’s guidance, particularly for high latitudes or local adjustments. Missing times remain blank. Duration uses elapsed time, including clock changes. To use different daily times, open Suhoor & Iftar Times and choose the manual timetable.
Common questions
When does suhoor end and iftar begin?
The fasting interval runs from true dawn to nightfall. This tool displays the selected timetable’s Fajr and Maghrib. Follow the fasting times approved by your local mosque or authority; it does not impose an extra ten-minute cutoff.
Why might my mosque show different times?
Fajr calculations and local timetable conventions can differ, especially at high latitudes. These are calculated start times, not congregation times. Choose the appropriate method or use the daily manual timetable option.
Are these confirmed Ramadan dates?
Calculated Ramadan dates are estimates for planning. Local moon-sighting decisions may differ. You can enter the locally announced first fasting day and 29 or 30 days. Update the final day after the local end-of-month announcement; the tool does not decide Eid.
Does the countdown know whether I am fasting?
No. It only compares the displayed times with the clock in the selected timezone. It does not record an intention, a completed fast or eligibility to fast. No countdown is shown for a different date or missing times.
Can I save or print the timetable?
You can download the displayed timetable as a CSV file and print it. The export includes its timezone, method, date basis and missing-time labels. Recheck local guidance before using a previously downloaded schedule.
