إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنشَقَّتْ
When the sky is ruptured.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
84:2Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
And hearkens to its Lord, as it must.
84:3Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَإِذَا ٱلْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ
And when the earth is leveled out.
84:4Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ
And casts out what is in it, and becomes empty.

وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ
And hearkens to its Lord, as it must.

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَـٰقِيهِ
O man! You are laboring towards your Lord, and you will meet Him.

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ بِيَمِينِهِۦ
As for him who is given his book in his right hand.
84:8Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا
He will have an easy settlement.
84:9Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَيَنقَلِبُ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا
And will return to his family delighted.
84:10Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِىَ كِتَـٰبَهُۥ وَرَآءَ ظَهْرِهِۦ
But as for him who is given his book behind his back.
84:11Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُوا۟ ثُبُورًا
He will call for death.
84:12Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا
And will enter the Blaze.
84:13Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فِىٓ أَهْلِهِۦ مَسْرُورًا
He used to be happy among his family.
84:14Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
إِنَّهُۥ ظَنَّ أَن لَّن يَحُورَ
He thought he would never return.
84:15Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
بَلَىٰٓ إِنَّ رَبَّهُۥ كَانَ بِهِۦ بَصِيرًا
In fact, his Lord was watching him.
84:16Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِٱلشَّفَقِ
I swear by the twilight.
84:17Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَٱلَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ
And by the night, and what it covers.
84:18Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا ٱتَّسَقَ
And by the moon, as it grows full.
84:19Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَن طَبَقٍ
You will mount stage by stage.
84:20Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
What is the matter with them that they do not believe?
84:21Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقُرْءَانُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩
And when the Quran is read to them, they do not bow down?
84:22Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ يُكَذِّبُونَ
In fact, those who disbelieve are in denial.
84:23Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ
But God knows what they hide inside.
84:24Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
فَبَشِّرْهُم بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
So inform them of a painful punishment.
84:25Juz 30 · Madinah page 589
إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍۭ
Except those who believe and do good deeds; they will have an undiminished reward.
